TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
* Over the past two decades, on the average, I have taught six classes
a year requiring at least four different preparations.
* Courses taught includes: Introductory and intermediate
microeconomics, introductory macroeconomics, applied statistics,
calculus for economics, managerial economics, Japanese economy,
cost-benefit analysis, environmental and resource economics, and senior
seminars on contemporary global environmental issues.
* Academic advisor of 35 to 40 students a year.
* Senior thesis supervisor of 7 to 8 students annually.
TEACHING AWARD:
The recipient of the 1996 Florence J. Lucasse Lectureship award for
excellence in teaching; Kalamazoo College's highest faculty award.
