The Baltimore & Ohio in Southern Indiana
(Former Ohio & Mississippi)
All images by Richard Koenig, organized geographically from east to west
181 and 182: Seymour
This is a westbound train doing a little switching at Seymour, Indiana.
It looks like the power is a trio of EMD GP40s this day.
Two images taken February 14th 1976.
229, 230, 231, 232, and 233: Brownstown, Part One
Here’s a westbound fast freight at Brownstown. The siding still exists here, but it’s
been shortened. The industry (with the stacks seen in the going away shots)
has been vacated and removed. Five images taken October 22nd 1977.
234, 235, 236, and 237: Brownstown, Part Two
To follow up on the previous post, an eastbound freight can now be seen from the
same vantage point in Brownstown. It looks like there’s a little U25B tucked
in with the EMD units. Four images taken October 22nd 1977.
